Buzz

Created and directed by Mark Pellington, Jon Klein, and Mark Neale in 1990 via a partnership with MTV Europe, Buzz was an experiment in cut-up information theory that drew heavily from the avant-garde art, underground cinema, cyberpunk, industrial culture, appropriation/sampling, and postmodern literature. Notable contributors included William S. Burroughs, Jenny Holzer, Genesis P-Orridge, Syd Mead, and many others. 13-episodes were made.
