Ascent to Heaven (Spanish: Subida al cielo) is a 1952 Mexican comedy film directed by Luis Buñuel and starring Lilia Prado. It is also known as Mexican Bus Ride in the United States. It was entered into the 1952 Cannes Film Festival.^{[1]

Synopsis:
In San Jeronimito, a village in the coastal state of Guerrero, México, Oliverio (Esteban Márquez), who just married, is compelled to return from honeymoon because his mother is dying. On his deathbed, the mother asks her boy to find a lawyer to draft her will to favor him and his grandson Chuchito, to the greed of his brothers. Oliverio will travel by bus to fulfill the wish of his dying mother, but during the trip, will happen many contingencies and avoid the seduction of the voluptuous Rachel (Lilia Prado).}
